How do I set up or update my tariff?

Update your electricity tariff via the tepeo app.

Keeping your electricity tariff up to date in the tepeo app ensures your ZEB can charge at the cheapest times. If you switch tariff — for example, at the end of a fixed-term contract or when you find a better deal — update it in the app straight away, especially if you use Smart Charging.

How to update your tariff in the tepeo app

  1. Open the tepeo app.

  2. Open the tepeo App menu (three lines icon at the top left of the screen).

  3. Select Tariff.
  4. Select Change tariff.
  5. On the Select your electricity supplier screen, ensure your Region is selected correctly (e.g., London (12)). Tap the pencil edit icon next to the region if you need to change it.

📍 Note: Finding your region with your postcode

Electricity rates can vary depending on your regional distribution network. Use the postcode lookup tool in the app to instantly find and select your correct region.

  6. Select your energy supplier from the list (e.g., Octopus Energy, Co-op Energy) and tap Continue.

📋 Note: If your supplier isn't listed, tap "My electricity supplier isn't listed" at the bottom of the screen to set up a custom tariff.
  7. Select your specific Tariff name from the list and tap Continue.

⚠️ Reminder: After confirming your new tariff, check your Smart Charging schedule in the app to make sure it still reflects the cheapest rate periods for your new plan.

💡 Tip: Finding your correct tariff name

Energy suppliers often offer multiple tariffs with very similar names (e.g., standard vs. EV variants). Check your latest bill or your supplier's online account to confirm the exact tariff name — this ensures your ZEB charges at the cheapest times.

  8. Review the tariff rate graph and details. Once you're happy everything is correct, tap

    Confirm.
