Understanding Away Mode Status in the tepeo App
1. Away Mode Enabled Indefinitely

The Away Mode screen displays:
“Automatic charging has been disabled, update your settings or enable it below.”This means all automated charging (Smart, Basic, and Custom) is paused until you manually disable Away Mode. There is no return date set, so the ZEB will remain in Away Mode indefinitely.
2. Away Mode Enabled with a Return Date

The Away Mode screen displays:
“Return Date: [your selected date] Your ZEB will start charging again from [your selected date], so that it can provide heat for when you’re back home.”In this mode, automatic charging is paused until the return date you’ve chosen. On that day, your ZEB will automatically resume its normal charging schedule to ensure your home is heated and ready when you return.
3. Away Mode Disabled

The Away Mode screen displays:
“Automatic Charging: Not sure when you’re going to return? Then disable automatic charging below.”This indicates that the ZEB is no longer in Away Mode, and your selected charging schedule (Smart, Custom, or Basic Charging) will operate as usual.
Tip: Always check the Away Mode screen in the Tepeo App to confirm your ZEB’s status, especially before going on holiday or during long absences.
