# How much does the ZEB cost?

## ZEB costs £6,000 including VAT and delivery. Eligible households can access a £2,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant if available.

A ZEB costs £6,000 to purchase, which includes VAT and delivery. Currently, the ZEB isn’t zero-rated for VAT purposes (20% VAT applies). However from next year, eligible households will be able to access a £2,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant to help reduce the cost of replacing a fossil fuel heating system. You can find out more about the grant and check your eligibility by clicking [here](https://www.tepeo.com/boiler-upgrade-scheme/).

Installation costs will vary depending on your home, heating system requirements and local installer rates. A typical installation takes around 1–2 days and usually does not require changing your existing radiators, which helps keep overall installation costs lower than many other options.

You can check how much you could save in running costs by using our **[cost & carbon calculator.](https://www.tepeo.com/costandcarbon/)**
