How much does the ZEB cost?

A ZEB costs £6,000 to purchase, which includes VAT and delivery. Currently, the ZEB isn’t zero-rated for VAT purposes (20% VAT applies). However from next year, eligible households will be able to access a £2,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant to help reduce the cost of replacing a fossil fuel heating system. Installation costs will vary depending on your home, heating system requirements and local installer rates. A typical installation takes around 1–2 days and usually does not require changing your existing radiators, which helps keep overall installation costs lower than many other options.
