# How do I manage my ZEB?

## Control your ZEB via the tepeo App, set your tariff, choose charging modes, monitor energy use, view your estimated carbon emissions, and activate Away Mode. Every ZEB includes a Comms Box for easy setup and status checks.

You manage and monitor your ZEB using two tools: the tepeo App and the Comms Box. The app handles tariff settings, charging styles, Away Mode, and usage monitoring, while the Comms Box provides on-device controls and status checks.

## What can I do with the tepeo App?

The tepeo App is the main way to control your ZEB. Use it to:

- Set your tariff and choose a charging style
- View the current status of your ZEB, including whether it’s charging or discharging
- Monitor your estimated energy usage and carbon emissions

Select Away Mode when you're not planning to use the ZEB for a period of time

## What is the Comms Box used for?

Every ZEB comes with a Comms Box, which provides on-device controls and status information. It allows you to:

- Connect to your account via Bluetooth for setup
- Boost Charge your ZEB
- Check whether your ZEB is charging or discharging
- See if any faults are present
