How can I check that my ZEB has a good internet connection?
Check your ZEB’s connectivity in the tepeo App.
You can check your ZEB’s connectivity on the Home screen of the Tepeo App by scrolling down to the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator. Strong connectivity ensures your ZEB can reliably communicate with the app, send fault reports, update schedules, and activate Boost Charging.
ZEB Wi-Fi Signal Strength Guide (dB)
| Signal Strength | Wi-Fi Level (dBm) | What It Means | Action Needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Excellent | ≥ -60 dBm | Strong connection. ZEB will reliably communicate with the app and operate normally. | None, everything is working optimally. |
| Good | -61 to -70 dBm | Stable connection. ZEB will generally operate well, but minor disconnects may occur. |
Check router placement if you experience occasional tepeo app issues. |
| Poor | -71 to -80 dBm | Weak connection. ZEB may struggle to maintain a reliable connection. | Move router closer to ZEB comms box, reduce obstructions, or reboot your router. |
| Unstable / Unknown | ≤ -81 dBm | ZEB cannot maintain a stable connection. Some features may not work, including Smart Charging updates or Boost Charge requests. | Follow troubleshooting steps or contact tepeo Support. |
